Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer who is best recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s she performed as a stage artist in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner' in 1957. The album was released by her too late for Tina in the same year. Louise made her debut as a performer in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic released in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda the main character of the movie. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's teacher. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career across Broadway as well as Hollywood, portraying more somber roles as in contrast to her portrayal of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary however she also was an effective television director in several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August in 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has been settling down there ever since.
